Types of Fabric
Hint: To proling the life of your cushions, spread a towel over the cushion when using baby oil, suntan lotions or oils. These products tend to breakdwon the U.V. factor in the fabric and can cause premature fading.
Hint: Spilling food or drink onto your cushion can cause bacteria to be trapped between fibers and th reads, causing mold to grow. Periodically clean your cushions with mild soap and water to safeguard against this. Fabric itself does not support mold, but the bacteria can become trapped between weaves.
Solution Dyed Acrylic/Acrylic Linen
Description
Woven from Solution Dyed Acrylic Fiber. Will retain its color and vibrancy for years. Soft, Comfortable, Breathable Fabric with a Soil and Stain Resistant Finish. Cleans Easily, Resists Mildew, Rot and Atmospheric Chemicals. Best Long-Term Value. Fabric is exclusively designed for outdoor use.
Care and Cleaning
Spot wash with a solution of liquid soap in lukewarm water. Rinse thoroughly with clean water and air dry. For stubborn stains or suntan lotion, use fabric spot remover. Follow directions on container. Rinse thoroughly with clean water. Solution-dyed acrylic does not promote mildew growth. However, mildew may grow on dirt and other foreign substances that are not cleaned off the fabric. To clean mildew stains, prepare a solution of one cup bleach and two tablespoons of liquid dishwashing soap per gallon of water. Spray on the area and allow to soak in. Scrub with sponge and rinse thoroughly with clean water, allow to air dry. Fabric can be sprayed off with hose.
